I have a yearling filly (Welsh cob) she has a mostly white face with one white eye. She has these little bumps only on her face, they look like fly bite reactions to me but they are only on her face. Has anyone ever had this before?
Pictures don't pick it up very well but she has a mix of skin coloured lumps and darker ones but she has them all up her face and around her eye. It doesn't primarily on the white. Vet said probably midgy bites and wasn't concerned but she looks awful and is super itchy (can see bald patches where she has rubbed so much). Have been applying filtabac suncream when out and cleaning her face with antibacterial soap and sudecrem over night (comes off before going out)
Have been using a full face fly mask but she does get it off so not seeing much improvement. This has been going on since march. Thank you
