sprays, creams, supplements??

Your experiences with the most effective.

I feel garlic at the moment, and i've tries lots of different sprays with no effect - is there anything out there that really does work?

Thank you

Fly rugs and mask, nettex itch stop cream every few days on particularly tasty bits (midline and teats on our two) with a spritz of fly spray morning and evening over the rest.

I don't feed garlic as one of ours has sweetitch, not conviced by it anyway tbh.

Fly spray I make my own into an old fly spray bottle (think it's 750ml?). I put in 30 drops citronella, 30 drops tea tree, a sloosh of white vinegar and then top up with water and shake well. Shake again before each use.

Everyone seems to have their pet recipie so have a bash and see what works for you. Do be wary of adding too much essential oil, they can be skin irittants so go easy with them, a little goes a very long way. You can get the oils from ebay, holland and baratt, cotswold herbs etc. Make sure you get the essential oil and not something that just smells like it (look for the words 100% essential oil, particularly citronella you can get burner oil which is not the same at all lol!).

I find vinegar mixed with water works on mine (even the one with sweet itch!) simple, cheap and effective! x
