Any recommendations? Our little sec A is too small for usual pony ones, I had one from Dinky rug but it has ripped really easily and wasn't cheap so reluctant to get the same one again?
Thanks

I think our section A was prepared to tolerate a Shires one in shetland size. It didin't have ears on it though, he really was not prepared to wear anything that covered his ears up. Very reasonable price from what I remember.

We've an arabx show pony who has a small face, not dissimilar sized head to but narrower than the 11.2 Sec A my daughter used to ride. He just rolls off the Shires one he came with, and was really suffering with flies. I got a purple (daughter's colour) Roma fly mask called an Eye Saver which is lycra with a large mesh area for the eyes, which he seems very happy with as it's so soft and comfortable. Unfortunately it doesn't have ears which we really do need but I'm going to make some from a bit of lime green lycra I've got in the loft, they will be very easy to add.

I see they're £5.99 in Equestrian Clearance, I paid £2 more in Countrywide.

I have a Roma one from Equine Clearance for my Section A with a very small, funny shaped head and he get on really well with it.
And they are cheap cheap cheap!!!
Chuffed as last year I was buying then for £25 each. Expensive when your horse keeps losing them in bushes :)

Cashel Crusader - though I am at the opposite end to you they do foal, weanling, yearling sizes which are very small and still with the nose cover and ears if you want them.

Yep cashel crusader is my suggestion too.
We have a foal size for our little old shetland with ears & a nose bit, not cheap but worth every penny this is her 2nd or 3rd summer in hers & apart from her ripping the fabric ears a couple of times (easily sewn) it's been really good quality.
I also have the shires one with no ears - it's fine but I don't find it fits tight enough round her nose so there's a risk of the flies getting inside it, plus it doesn't have ear covers so we have to spray her ears which she hates - we keep that as a spare.

Thanks all I'll have a look at those, we do need the ears covered as it's his ears that get chewed, we have horrible midges where we are and their ears start to bleed if they're not covered
:-(
