Fly repellant

I have noticed the flies are out again, loads in the paddock today and the poor lad had scratched his head so much he's got a blad spot

.

Has anyone the recipie for home made fly spray?? Thankyou!

Yup i have a home made recipe!.right you need.....

1x10 ml of citronella (you can get it at any chemists)
1x 500ml bottle of malt vinegar.
Tea bags.
Boiling water.
Empty coke bottle (2 ltr)

Boil kettle,Put 6 tea bags in a large jug,pour in boiling water,leave to go cold. Add bottle of citronella and vinegar give it a good stir and pour into large bottle.Job done.You get 2 litres of repellant for under £2.00.

best recipe ever rema used it last year and it worked a treat !!!!

I would add a squirt of washing up liquid, because it helps to emulsify the essential oil.

I use that recipe too, it rocks, much cheapness also
