Are there any that don't slip back so the horse is strangled by the end of the day? Mine currently has a Mark Todd one and although their turnouts fit him beautifully, the fly rug is not so good.

Rambo sweetitch . £100 approx but you can't beat it . Last for years , tough as anything . Lady down my yard had a MT one then decided to get the sweetitch as mum and I had one each and she said she's never been more pleased ! Might be pricey but def worth it

Another vote for Rambo! Tried other makes and to be honest, I know I won't be having to replace his rug regularly like before as this one ticks all the boxes and is durable. Never once slipped. Quality over quantity.. :)

Thank you - just had a look and not cheap but then they never are......

I recently got one for £40 second hand. they are much better than cheaper makes-even though its a litle big around the shoulders of my pony, it doesnt slip back. They aren't quite cut for brick outhouse type natives and I had to get extender straps for the neck but its a nice rug, will get another.

I have an Amigo Mio fly rug and it stays in place well. As long as you do up the Velcro every time you remove it then it's grand. My girl hates the neck on it, but it does the job regarding flies.
