I have a selection of fly sheets for my herd but have a problem with one of my Shagya Arabs. She has quite a long neck and there is always a gap between her mask and neck cover.

Last year I tried and Amigo.

Any suggestions?

i have a weatherbeeta soft mesh combo that the neck seems really long on and i know which ones dont have long necks on my yard are:
Rambo and masta

I have used the rambo protectors on both clydesdales which are big long horses and the neck cover is nice and long and also generous so not too tight, ditto on my gypsy cob.

The equine premier rug is fairly long, but not that generous on the neck width, this is on my gypsy cob who is chunky, but not huge necked.

Thank you both for your reply. I actually have a weatherbeeta soft mesh too big for this particular horse but I will have a look.

Although they are TO and stable rugs, OH's horse has Mark Todds that are too short in the neck - 17h TB.

Probably not worth trying MT.

I use the Rambo Sweet Itch Hoodie and the neck has a lot of length to it. It's a bit like Nora Batty's wrinkled stockings on my horse of normal proportions, but because it has so many fastenings up the neck and it fits over the ears and around the chin, it stays in place really well, even when she rolls and gets it off her ears!

With a fly mask it would stay on the ears even better with no gaps. I think this rug would fit a giraffe.
