OK, we've had one day of summer, and the flies are out in force
I'm not sure what to do about my rising 2yo who will be going out on 24/7 t/o at the beginning of May.
Last year he was out with a full face flymask and was OK; this year I'm not sure if I also want something heat reflecting too he is completely black and gets hot very easily.
His field is part orchard, so there is plenty of shade.
I don't really want to truss him up in a bug rug (boett type), but I'm not sure how long a fly sheet will last amongst the trees. Generally he isn't too hard on his rugs, but I think he had a light weight rain sheet on for a total of 16 days this winter, the rest of the time he was naked.
Aaargh... decisions decisions!
