As the owner of a veteran who has always hated sprays I was so excited last year when they brought out power phaser in a rollerball. This summer I bought the big 2.5 litre bottle and planned to just refill the rollerballs. Annoyingly the balls kept falling out, then a few weeks ago I discovered a thing called a solar buddy, I think they were on dragons den so people probably already know about them but it’s a refillable rollerball with a sponge designed to apply sun cream, anyway it’s a game changer and I’m going through much less fly repellent as I used to have to either use the gel or spray a sponge and apply so was losing a lot to evaporation. Im not connected to them in any way other than just wanted to help other owners whose horses are fearful with sprays.

Yeah have a look it’s very handy as with the gel I get through loads but with the liquid at least you can buy in bulk and save a bit of money and the sponge allows it to spread a bit. In the summer I can go through a bottle of phaser every week which is rather painful as we’re now at near £20 a bottle so im absolutely delighted 😀

nice idea but ouch, that’s a lot to pay for an empty container!
