be interested in home made recipies - I make one up with vinegar, eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil and citronella, plus water. have tried loads of shop bought and home made stuff over the years - the best one is the stuff you dilute yourself and only have to spray now and again but only use it for shows as it is so chemically.

This is mine

250 ml of avon skin so soft and fresh bath oil - but if you don't have a horse with SI or lots of midges you can half this.

1 teaspoon each of tea tree, lavender, citronella, cedar wood and eucalyptus oil.

5 capfuls of dettol

Mix with cold tea or water to make 1 litre.

Spray on twice a day leaving a fine mist on the coat. I have also used this on people. I find this ok on delicate areas - but do a patch test first.

It does work very well for a home made receipe with no chemicals and whilst not the cheapest, smells nice and is not that expensive to make.
