how to get one

yesterday when i was cantering my huge serpentine up the stubble, wilma changed legs a few times; but others i had to trot and as again

how do i ask her to change???

Its a long drawn out affair, Im no expert but its best to try somewhere on a flat surface and make sure you have the best forward controlled canter, i taught my boy by asking at X in a school and just changing the aids but you must remember to sit up, allow with your hands so you dont restrict the forward movement (i was recently told to allow a stride before you ask) and make the change of aids as obvious as you can. If they change in front only or just behind then dont make a fuss. Trust me, I started like this on my welshie only 12 months ago and he will happily do two on the long side now, its getting there!
