Just thought I'd share these photos of the lovely Fiona at her first ever show, seeing fillers and experiencing the show atmosphere for the first time. Needless to say she was impeccably well behaved. Full report is in CR.

Best quote of the day was a mother turning to her daughter and saying "see some cobs can jump." Fiona thinks 2ft9 is piddly. :p

She really is a cracker, the sort hard to find. It was lovely riding something so genuine and honest for day. She's going xc schooling Tuesday and if she's still with us in the autumn she'll do a bit of hunting. (Very excited about this as I haven't had a good jumper but sensible horse to hunt ever.)

This was Twyning, it was a lovely show did you have a good day?

You just missed her ailbheg, she used to love in Ireland not sure she'll fancy the ferry ride back over but she probably misses swimming in the sea daily. :)

Results-wise, not so much. Judge was into welsh ponies and we are certainly not one of those so Ava was not her type at all. She did get 4th in the youngstock class though. I had some really nice comments from people outside the ring though and it was a really good experience for Ava, she behaved perfectly so I was very pleased with her.

I was wondering when I was there if there would be any forum people at the show. I've not really been around much the last few months, had nothing to report!!

Probably safest for my bank account - it might go into shock if I started funding two! She'll make someone a fantastic fun horse I'd say. :)
