Flying orange pony tackles a big hedge!

Yesterday we tried our first proper hedge as pony has been flying this season and it looked like a nice one!

Wowee!!! We done orange pony! I was sooo gutted not to be able to hunt with you guys this season. I had pony fit and clipped only to lose my transport!!! Hey-ho hopefully I'll get out next season!

And YOU deserve some praise too star. He didnt get brave like that by accident. 18 months ago, he would not have trusted himself ,to stretch over a big hedge like that.Carrots and Chocolate to you both.

WOW, what a clever lad and a brave rider, I saw yr pic's on the web site... How is he today as heard he was a bit wobbley the next day, hope he's o.k...

I'm beginning to think he is too! They must breed Welsh Cobs different in Ireland - this one eats like a TB, runs as fast as one (had a race with an ex-racer when out on Sunday and he beat him!) and jumps like one too. Currently he also looks like one!

He was a bit stiff yesterday but seems ok today, so hopefully he will be ok for more hedge jumping soon :)

thank for all the lovely comments - those who said he looks like fun - that he most definitely is. He will jump anything as long as the guys in front jump and he always managed to find that 5th leg to get himself out of trouble. He's strong, but mostly stoppable and never bucks or leaps around. He does like to stand up on his back legs when his excitement gets the better of him though!!
