Yesterday evening my daughter went into the bathroom and screamed! There on the floor was the biggest spider in the world!

Both of us are terrified of them

So we quickly called Flyn up, showed him the spider, he immediately picked it up and carried it in his mouth - so proud of himself He went to give it to me as a present - No Thanks! So we excitedly ran outside with him, told him to "drop" and all ran back in the house as fast as we could and slammed the doors behind us! Phew!

He's been taking lessons from Vizzy's Ellie She ate a massive spider when i was staying with Vizzy, She saved me! It would defo have crawled into my room

Gah - no one is ever going to forget that now are they!

Thankfully neither you nor Vizzy will need to bring me an old bath (nor camera equipment) as no further rings have appeared and the rest are practically gone

Forget gundogs, sheep dogs, guide dogs..... we need to start breeding "spider hunting" dogs!

Perhaps we should cross Ellie and Flyn as founding parents (JOOOKKKKE )

Ellie is indeed my spider catcher (you cant trust Flora with the things she insists on giving them back to you, maybe minus a leg ) Ellies like wonder woman with spiders, she comes running in the room as I screech, looking for it. Wont be much good if one day I'm screeching cos a mass murderer has entered the house and shes darting about looking for spiders but hey, day to day its jolly handy!
Glad your rings have gone RW! Did you invent a clever technique for getting the ones on your back?

I too have a spider despatching heroine of a dog. They have no chance when she spots them running across the floor and her inner terrier kicks in.

Dylan does flys and crane flys very well, hes not quick enough for spiders though.
