FMN - Hows Dermot today?

I had a mare once that had the worst case of worm damage and looked like a hat rack - I have NEVER seen anything look so bad. All her hair fell out and she also got lammi due to the toxins in her body. The vets wanted to put her down - and I must admit she looked awful but this mare did not want to give up. We used to open her stable door and she would painfully hobble out for grass and then a very short while later put herself back to bed. BUT she did not give up and neither did we. She slowly picked up and 3 months later looked amazing. It can be done! As long as he is comfortable then keep fighting and don't give up!

I'm really sorry to hear this, I'm sending you the last dregs of luck I have as you need it far more than me. Fingers even more tightly crossed for poor Dermot.

I am so sorry to hear this... I am sending all my get better vibes to Dermot and hoping to hear some better news very soon. He is in the best possible place, I am sure they will be making sure he is very comfortable and happy despite what he is going through.

You are being a very strong person and I admire you greatly!
