Ok, so I need ideas. I have a 7 month old colt, what can I get him for christmas? He is currently living out so no need for boredem ball, tongue twisters etc, he doesnt get titbit treats, I only got him yesterday so has a new head collar, lead rope, grooming kit, rugs etc so now i am stuck! It is kind of like try to buy a gift for the kid that has everything!

All ideas welcome.

Also what will you be treating your horse to?

B1 having reins martingale and stable rug b2 having new saddle. :) and lots of sweets and treats. L having feed bucket and even more treats.

Nothing? :p Mine wont get xmas presents. They'll be lucky to get a bit of carrot, apple, so other veg & maybe a tiny bit of honey in their feed! They get everything else as/when they need it :)

I think the best Christmas present is some extra attention, my two just love being talked to and stroked and given attention.

They are not given treats as the charity I have them on loan from do not encourage giving treats, only in feeds. I have been really impressed how they respond and are very loving, without any 'bribary', and as a public footpath goes by my field, I know they will not take anything from a hand, so it removes what could be a problem.

A carrot....... I have enough to worry about at Xmas without buying presents for the horse. She doesn't know it is christmas and gets whatever she needs through the year.

My horses are Buddhists. They wouldn't like xmas presents. I will probably have to donate my money to some charidee...
