If mum is grey and dad is black what colours could the foal be?
Or is it more of a lucky dip if you don't know the specific breeding?

Thanks
Would it be on her passport?
I think it'll make the stakes more interesting if there's a possibility of many colours
I think grey is a dominant gene??
Snow Angel, I've got a jet black TB filly from a TB mare I rescued. Dam was black with white star. No idea what colour dad was!
My filly has no white at all.
are either heterozygous or homozygous (sp?) and of course I can't remember which means colour is guarenteed or not!
