Tuesday morning 6.30 millie finally gave birth to a gorgeous little filly now named meg,it was a slightly dramatic birth as she was out in the paddock and the colt charged into the field through his fence and tried stamping on the foal as she was been born but ebony jumped between and protected her so no harm came to either thank god.She had to have a little help getting her out but once she was out she was carried straight into stable and was up and on her feet within 3 mins and looking for milk.
I finally get to go see her today as i cant take james down he is too loud and has no safety sense around the horses [obviously not his fault] so i should have some pictures of her later which i will post tonight.
The funniset part is after struggling to sell the colts [mind you still got one] meg was bought within an hour of been born so she already has a new owner [she is not leaving the yard though she was bought by family]
Im very excited about seeing her though and pleased to have a pink one to play with for a while.
