DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT CAN STILL BE INSPECTED WITH THE ZANGERSHEIDE? OR IS IT NOW SHES AES THATS IT? REALLY WANTED STUD BOOK Z BUT THE COVERING CERT HAD BEEN SENT OFF AND THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING IT. SO IVE ENDED UP WITH A AES REG FOAL WHEN I WANTED A Z REG FOAL ANYONE? CAN I HAVE BOTH OR IS IT ONE STUDBOOK ONLY?

Don't know about registering with both, but see my thread posted today on trying to arrange for passporting and inspection with Zangersheide - was there a delay for you as well?

I thing that once you have a passport you are stuck with it sorry. However you should be able to get the AES one over stamped by another breed society. We did this with our youngster a couple of years ago. wanted to reg him with the SHB (GB) but had an issue with the prefix register so had to reg him with the AES and then got the SHB to over stamp.

or you could just lose the AES one and register with Z ???

[/ QUOTE ]can you just lose the AES and choose the Z instead?

i cant see why not??? but maybe you shouldnt listen to me as im going to get told off for leading you astray xxx

A horse can only have one passport, so losing one doesn't mean you can go elsewhere because the horse will already have a stud book number.

If the horse is already AES, you cannot get another passport from another stud book.
