Our 3 month old El Thuder foal is rapidly growing out of his baby rug (and its been so FOUL down here that he really has needed it, especially as he's not been well), and needs a 4' now ... but our problem is that we can't find anything of that size that doesn't have a neck that is much too large for him (he has a very fine neck and shoulders).

Has anyone got any recommendations/found a make that works for WB foals?

I have one I was given, it has a label on saying Knight Rider I think, fits really well around Callies little tiny shoulders, its a 4ft. Has a very adjustable front fastening

I think a few people on here last year said how they had to sew some pulled 'darts' onto the necks, which could then be let out at a later date.

Thanks crazymare, I'll check out the Knight Rider. I do hope that I don't have to get sewing, as I'm just awful at it, but I may have gt to grips with darts if the worst comes to the worst! Poor little Tam's bum is sticking out many inches from his current rug

I have some Saxon ones, and a foal born in mid May that hasn't yet got a huge front (quite narrow atm) wears the 4' with no adjustments.

Ive just bought recently a 4ft and 4ft 3 rug from Robinsons , you can find them on the internet. They do foal rug. Ive got the foal fleece and fits lovely on my 3 month old foal. Also got one of the "requiste" rugs and ive not had to alter it at all over the withers.
Worth a mooch....
