has anyone had any experience of foals having colic my 4 mth old colt had a attack to day looks like i will have a sleepless night when i checked him at 8pm he appeared ok but it is very worrying he hadnt drank from mum during the day as she was dripping milk. I have put a rug on mum but i watched him work out were the milk comes from so it cant be that. just desparatley looking for a reason but proberly wont ever have the answer

I would very much want a vet to see the foal asap; you just can't be too careful with foals and they can get dehydrated so very quickly and then become very ill at the drop of a hat which can be fatal. I certainly wouldn't wait until morning just in case.
Do hope it's alright, keep us updated.
