Well he's technically a yearling and he's been out all summer enjoying the grass, coming in for grooming and feet trimms, but he hasnt had as much time spent with him as I would have liked due to Affy's hock op and having to sell Icy, but today he really excelled himself. The contractors who put a new drain pipe in the field didnt fill it in properly, so they came back with the heavy plant to re fill the hole and flatten the great wall of china down. Foalie spent a whole hour this morning chasing the dumper up and down the field, standing in the hole that the JCB driver was trying to dig out, and generally mobbing anyone in a hard hat for treats (this worked and he likes Rhubarb and Custard sweets), and generally refusing to be moved to another part of the field. He then got bored of the whole thing and wandered to the other side of the field by himself! (Before anyone comments, we did move them out of the field completely when they put the pipe line in, but they managed to get back into the field themselves thanks to some dog walkers who spend every night re-adjusting the fences we've just fixed to keep them in)

Very entertaining - at lnow you know he will be fine with traffic.

One of mine is currently living behind a backpackers hostel and is getting dreadfully spoilt with all the backpackers giving him treats.

He has learnt to winny in several different languages.

The most exciting day in Foalie's life was the Day of the Great Escape when the herd moved down the river, under the road bridge on to the estate, she was ecstatic, and pranced all the way home, good job she remembered her first leading lesson!
