Foaling date help!

Hi

I have put my mare in foal this year. She was covered on the 28th May. Can any one help with a foaling date?

I'd have said 3rd May - Give or take 3 weeks each side!!!

agree early may - 342 days is taken as the average but most of mine seem to run to 350 plus

Easiest way is a year less 25 days as a rough guide so 3rd May for your girl!

It's normally 345 days plus or minus 15 days. I was told because it was my mare's first foal she would go over her date but she was actually bang on her due date - she was covered 17th June and she had the foal just after midnight on the 18th May!
