Hi everyone, it's that time of year where I miss my old job. I made this video last year but thought it was worth sharing for those that want some more information on foaling and problems with presentation at birth. Hope you like it.

This is fab! I’ve seen lots of YouTube videos where the presentation seems good but then one leg progresses in front of another - the elbow of second leg stuck?

In some videos They help, in others they leave mare get in herself. Any tips, advice on which is best? And also how much of a difference between legs is really an issue?

i would obviously hope to interfere as little as possible but at the same time want my mare to be as relaxed, comfortable as possible :)

Hey @HappyHackerK8 thank you for the comment and questions. I am going to pop up another video on placenta tying over Easter.
So with regards to legs, I'm fairly relaxed but if the second foot is behind the first knee, be aware the elbow might be stuck. An experienced foaling person can solve this but a novice would be best getting a more experienced person to help at that point.
In general, less is best. Interfering too much causes trouble.
If you want to ask any more questions pleasevmessage me. I've got some handy checklists I can send you too. These are all free on my Facebook group too.
