A bit of fun, yes. I didn't care as long as the outcome was a healthy mare and foal. Mine was right, a filly.
OH didn't believe me when I said the nail actually did circle, but it did, quite dramatically. He still thinks that it was a load of waffle and that the result was purely coincidental. I caught him doing it over the pregnant cat when he thought I wouldn't see
Definitely only a bit of fun, but i thought it was pretty amazing how it didn't move when i held it over the ground, but it went mad over the mares backs.
It says-
Teazle's having a filly
Bramble's having a colt
Yes rain has passed over now. Fields are already looking much greener and my lilacs are all out and the tulips will be out by this afternoon so I am a happy bunny.
Golden's foal is already sold; it likely should be kept a stallion as it has a top notch pedigree, however the buyers probably will geld it. If it's a filly, I'd be tempted to keep it......so I hope it is a colt LOL!!
Wow! Someone obviously thinks a lot of Golden and Ezzy to have bought an unborn foal!
A palomino tobiano perhaps? How are Cloud and Legacy? About time for more photos?
My lilacs have appeared overnight, my fields are looking better but I swear the lawn has shot up by two inches overnight. Too wet for the Oranges to go on it now so I have turned them out in the woods, big mistake I feel at least I won't be worrying about them tearing the ground up out there. I have actually figured out how to put a video on here and there is one of them playing in PG.
Ah well I have one those tiny Sony Vaio laptops so I need lots of cables to be able upload videos....I have asked for them though, so once hubby is back I will be able to upload some vids of Legacy
. I will pop down there and have a lookie at yours though.
Golden has a lot of palomino tobiano in her line, however neither parent are homozygous so it may well end up being chestnut LOL!! Either way, it's going to be going to it's new home and not staying here. The owner loves both Golden and Ezzy so she asked to buy even before Golden had been bred LOL!!
Ezzy really did make a huge impression on the people who met him - most sad that he was gelded really as I had quite a few people wanting to book him this year. C'est la vie.
