Foaly's first show- some advice please

OK, my yearling NF has his first in hand show on the 7th June- how 'tidy' does his mane have to be? He is steel grey what colour halter would look best? Brown/Black - due to his colour im not sure. Finally Travel boots/bandages or go naked?

I have judged Hunter classes but never M&M so would love some native advice.

M&M's should be shown 'natural' but I always did my welshies mane so it was tidy and relatively straight. You should have a brown bridle. If he's not used to boots / bandages then don't bother
