Follow on from dentist polll...

Ok, have found three people:
John Cranage, Robin Harding and Mark Thorn

Has anyone had one of these and can recommend them? They are all BEVA registered and come to Lancashire.

Yes - I have used Mark Thorne.

He lives in the Scottish borders though so may only come as far as Lancashire if he has a few to do in the area. At our old yard we used to get a few people together who wanted theirs doing so he had a few to do.

I'm no expert but I had someone else in March (won't name names) who did a quick job. I still wasn't happy with the way my horse was going so I had him looked at by Mark Thorne in June - he still had some very sharp edges and a couple of ulcers in the back of his mouth - he showed them to me.

He was very thorough and seemed to pay alot of attention to detail. The vet came a couple of weeks later for something else and said my horses teeth were very smooth and that the dentist had done a thorough job.
