Hi everyone thats replied, thanks ok I have decided to take it with Shearwater as although they were £33 more than anthony evans if I use my EHOA voucher its just £10 more and I have always had good experience with them. So my next question is which breakdown do I choose Anthony evans is £50 cheaper but they don't have home start and they don't automatically transfer horses to another vehicle if need towing the lady said it depends at the time if they remove horses to another lorry - so horses could be onboard whilst being towed. Where as Shear water do home start and horses are NEVER towed, always put onto another horsebox.
Have any of you that use Anthony Evans had your horses towed, what was your experience

How much is your breakdown from Shearwater?

I pay £169.00 with HBG Assistance and like Shearwater they never tow with the horse on board, i wouldn’t ever let that happen. I think mine is a bit expensive but they service is amazing and i have had to be towed home so i know they are good.

Hi BFG shearwater is £133.50 and they have been great when I broke down, even closed a section of the M42 transfer the horse safely to another horsebox

Might be worth looking into when mine is up for renewal.

Never had a breakdown but if you search on here quite a few people report good experiences with Anthony Evans, including taking horses in a different lorry, putting them up in stables for the night, etc.
