What websites would be the best to a search through for tack for sale? I've tried buyandsell.net but don't know many irish ones?

There's sometimes tack for sale on www.irishhorsetrader.com ... They might try to sell your saddle to Holmestead and other saddlers though.

We are having a look at saddles tomorrow after the show at old mills saddlery so will have a look and ask if they have been getting any saddles in especially the ones you have said about . They are having an open day , either its past or its still to be taking place as they are opening their new premises .

I hate to say so but the tack is likely to surface over here having travelled in a container..
Put anything you can about it into places like adtrader and ebay on a notify search, at least then you always know when it's advertised..

I've found a better picture of the saddle that shows the tanny bit. The stirrup leathers that were on the saddle are the same ones in the photo - stubben.

Below is the location of the distinctive scratches. Ith looks like fingernail damage or screw/nail damage but there are 3 nearly identical scratches on the saddle as shown. the blue line below represents were the leather is creased/looks cracked. Under the flap there will be a purple tag with 'Kiyo' written on it
