So thinking of going ahead .... just need to get folks on board

I've seen a couple on horsequest I liked, but where else would I find a cheap as chips pony?? Looked on horsemart, horsedeals, H+H, magazines.... Not sure I am anywhere near experienced enough to brave the sales

Any other ideas??? (for those who don't know, I would be after a 13.2-14.2hh, unbroken or just backed, 4-5yo)
Thanks

Lass who is a friend of a friend just brought a lovely little 4yo coloured hunter type 14.2 ish to ride out with us a few weeks back. She picked her up from Holmfirth sales for under £600.

Mare is a nice sort, She'll sell on for quite a bit with some miles under her belt. Well marked, reasonably well put together, moves straight, nice temperament, laid back, just as green as grass.

I'm in the East midlands... I would not trust myself at the sales alone, but if i could drag along my instructor for the day then maybe

... don't really want a 3yo as I want something that I could do something with within a few months ie I don't want to spend winter hacking out slowly, I've had enough of that with lame pony.

spacefaer- I want something as a project to sell on and make a bit of money on (though with livery fees i wont, but i mean as a lump sum)

niagaraduval- Yep and that is still the long term plan. But I have no budget now really, so need something cheap to play with, make a bit of money on, and get some youngster experience.

I'm planning on doing the same as the OP If my parents manage to get the house they have their eye on (has plenty of land and stables), this way i would save on livery costs too

Good luck on finding something
