Follow that white horse

Literally. Took Hattie for a long hack today. Decided to go to Farleigh Hungerford, pass the castle, and along a bridleway, round the block and back. But while we were out I decided to find a ford to play in so went off exploring and got lost! Oops. Anyway I could see the white horse in the distance and I knew that if I keep that in front and slightly to my left I would be heading in the right direction and eventually found my way back, in doing so discovered a new round route! And I found the river but no ford and Hattie wouldn't walk down the narrow path to the waters edge.
All in all it was a fab hack. And I'm sure Hattie would of found her way home anyway.

That does sound fun! I had a similar situation once hacking back from hunting, however I had to play follow the power plant, as I knew we'd parked right near it! Somehow follow the white horse sounds more fun!
