Well, extremely clear email sent to HO of said saddlery & the outcome is that my replacement bit is on it's way. No apology from that branch though & customer services admitted that Asst Manager was in the wrong.

Not overly impressed, they did the bare minimum to avoid Trading Standards and nothing more.

Ah well at least I was bitless for 6 days and not 30.

But still won't be using them again.
 
Im shocked they havent sent you vouchers or something as an apology, i certainly wouldnt spend one more penny there.
