Ages ago I posted on here, I doubt anyone will remember but I'd been given a puppy who walked down on his front legs (like a play stance) and investigations showed his joints hadn't formed and his front legs were in fact not connected to his body.
Vets opinion was he was in no pain and to wait a while and see how he developed as he was so happy.
Well ff a year and i can honestly hand on heart say I have the happiest craziest little dog (really little as he stayed small)
He has developed muscle and is really quite upright now,
He runs, gallops chases balls and toys for hours. He has massive enthusiasm for everything he does. He eats like a horse (typical lab!)
On the odd occasion someone meeting him for the first time will say "oh poor thing" or similar, it lasts about a minute and they are amazed at his hyper activeness!
Sometimes it's been tough, mainly because of other peoples reactions but now as he is I'm so happy we made the choice to keep him and let him have a life- which he's living to the full!!!! :)
