Follow up on ulcers question - another question

Thanks for all your replies.

So horse has 4 weeks worth of gastroguard - have instructions from vet but they didn''t say anything specific about what time of day to give him the gastroguard. He had had today's at the vets and eat his tea much better tonight. I am thinking morning for the gastroguard but anyone get any advice from their vets about when to give it. Thanks.

It should be given on an empty stomach so before breakfast ideally.

Yep ideally first thing and before you make breakfast so it's got 20 mins to go through before other food slows it down
