The farm kittens that i have taken on have turned out to be...you guessed it, one male,e female.
I was shocked the other day to see that the cost of neutering a female cat in my local vet is now £100, unless i read it wrong!
I'm not expecting to pay nothing to get one or both done but was wondering if there are any schemes, free or not, for the neutering of farm cats??

CPL often run a voucher scheme for speying/neutering. in west mids there is a chain of practices that offer cut price vaccinations and neutering so worth looking around.

Yes the cpl does do vouchers for nutering but tbh I don't see why they should if people can afford it just don't want to pay for it. U wouldn't try to get somebody to pay your horse bill so why the cats? It just rattles me, if your not perpaired to pay for what they need don't have the animals

Yep, the Cats Protection neuter ferals for free. They trap, test for feline aids & leukemia, neuter, ear snip (so u can see that they've been done & don't get trapped again), then release back to where they came from. It's free cos technically you're helping them by reducing unwanted kittens. BUT it depends on whether your cats are pet or feral. Either way, phone the national helpline & they'll point u in the right direction. :-)
