following from my ponys bad breath vet visit

Vets been. Got to go tomorrow for endoscope as he still smells a bit though he has less gunk now. Fingers crossed they dont find anything as my daughter would be devestated!

Ive been told its either
Absess in throat esophagus (sorry about spelling & original diagnosis)
Problem in Gut
Something worse (ie tumor) but this seems unlikely

Got to go to a different vet as refferal from mine and unfortunately they are known for treating things that dont need to.

Still told my daughter he got a sore throat!

Has ponio had mild strangles? Ours got a secondary, guttural pouch, infection and though she smelled terrible and had a cottage-cheese-like discharge down one nostril, otherwise she seemed fine.

Vet hospital scoped her (after radiographs indicated massive blockage) to find it gone. An almost unheard of lucky escape. Hope your news is similarly good.

My cob has bad breath - he needed a tooth removed and had sinusitus.

Probably a sinus infection - £30's worth of antibiotics.
