... choose to ride on a road when there was a perfectly nice bridle path just the other side of the hedge which runs parallel with said road, for it's whole length and even has openings in the hedge where riders may want to cross the road (to get to connecting paths)???
I have passed one such rider 3 or 4 times over the past few weeks and I have considered stopping to ask her why she wants to risk her own and her horse's lives on this busy, windy and bumpy country lane given the above... am I crazy for considering such a thing?
I personally will do anything I can to avoid riding on roads these days where possible...
