out of interest, what would be the minimum if it was a cob? I`m 5ft 10 and I`ve got back to riding recently after a LONG break. I don`t take anyone with me to my riding lessons so haven`t a clue what I look like on the 15 2 Welsh D I`m using in the lessons. I only have pictures of me from 7-15 years on much smaller ponies. We`ve always had welshies in our family so I`m hoping that I`m not now to big for them now I`ve got the land, house etc to actually have one for myself............ (just want to blow out the cobwebs first by having some lessons to remind myself what is what!)

Cob height: I feel comfortable and look ok on 15.1hh minimum, as long as it's a weight carrier and wide lol I have ridden a 14.2hh cob too and it carried my weight no problems, just my legs looked too long for it!

He is lovely.
My old boy is 17.2hh (I am 5ft 2) and I still struggle with anything smaller than 16.2. They just feel so unnervingly small! LOL
