What can be done to reduce proud flesh?

Does Camrosa (aka snotinapot) work or what does everyone else do?

(Donkey has an overreach that is looking like it might scar)

Well where is she then????

Camrosa worked well on Attys proud flesh. Wish was god only knows how old as he had it when I bought him.

Got rid of all the lumpy bumpiness and now have smooth skin but no hair unfortuantly.

I can second camrosa - has worked wonder on some blemishes my chap had when I got him (one of which was an over reach scar which looked very old, but it dissapeared

ONe of my old horses had a very big old scar when I got him. I put aloe vera moisturiser on it every day so it didn't dry out. Over time the edges even grew new hair. The very proud bit in the middle was smaller too. As it was on the inside of his lower leg I also turn him out in one boot so he didn't catch it.

Another vote for aloe vera here. My old mare had a scarred knee, similar to HH's layla, and we reduced the proud flesh by applying the gel every day. (It might be on offer in holland and barrett at the moment)

The scar started off quite leathery, and black and protuding, and the worst of it fell off to be replaced by hair and healthier looking skin.
