Amigo is Rambos budget range. Ive not had Fal rugs in years but im guessing its the same concept.
Makes sense really imo.. Not everyone can afford to spend the money that some of the very high end rugs are priced at. Equally, they arent always justifiable... use cheaper materials and price the rug down to appeal to more markets and situations
Rambo/ Rhinos are made in Ireland, Amigos are made in asia. I think it's the same for the Fal. The saddlery I used to work in didn't stock them. They use equally good materials. I don't think the difference Dernier is much to write home about.
Also the Rhinos have an internal waterproof layer, whereas the Amigos just have a waterproof coating on the outer material like every other make of rug, therefore need re-waterproofing. Does that make sense?
