After reading all the posts it seems that there was mixed experiences. Anyway I rang my vet and he was very un bothered by this,.He has no history of lameness and has only just come back into work and at 4 1/2 will be weak behind. He said that if he was still lame in 10 days ring him. I have snce been told the lady is a bit notorious for how can I put it, for diagnosing things a little different to how they are (eg had someone tell me yesterday she said her horse had fracture pelvis so rushed to vets and nothing really wrong)
So vet not worried at all. He said carry on working him if it get worse or not any better in 10 days rest him and he will come out then. He was crossthat she said he needed a nerve block as he would not have done this anyway.

So I lunge him last night and had 2 people watch + me (one was trainer one was stranger) and none of us could see any lameness. . My trainer (who schooled him from being backed) said he is just a baby and wont track up immediately and she can only think this is where the suggestion came from, as he is quite lazy and will dribble along if he can.

So I have paid £80 to be told that his back was ok which i suppose is good.

Atleast he is ok. and at the end of the day It was to get his back looked at in the first place!!

Thanks yesterday to all those that posted I am happier today

Great news!
I think that probably all she was saying was that one back leg wasnt tracking up quite as much as the other one, as everyone has said perfectly normal in a young or weak horse.
