do you spend on your horse thread. How much do you earn?
i am a housewife as stayed at home when the children were born,they are now in their 20's and I have missed out on a career. My husband brings home a net wage of £1200 a month so thats what we live on. Occasionally theres cleaning work in the village for me but on minimum wage its a bit soul destroying. I have several O levels and 3 A levels and am now bored and frustrated at home. Does anyone else have to manage on a low wage and feel they have made the wrong life choices?

me!! i too have a few a-level, first aid etc.. I have recently left my job as travel was more than i would earn (rural) ok more like break even, so for now im a house wife living of OH wage, which like you doen't do much for myself feeling low and useless - though i am very tempted on this poo -picking idea as i could stick my lil 'un in a baby carrier. I am job hunting and sending my cv left right and centre but nothing.

my commiserations its a difficult time. Also have just read this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...es-to-waive-new-EU-rights-on-workers-pay.html I think this is terrible. Temps on less money despite the new law.
