What type of music do you listen to when riding and how does it affect your riding?

For example if the music is fast with a quick tempo do you find yourself riding to the beat in the music????

I stick my iPod on shuffle so my music can go something like this:

Britney Spears --> Marilyn Manson --> Pendulum --> Gunther and the Sunshine Girls --> Steps --> Black Eyed Peas --> Bob Marley --> Chase and Status --> Enter Shikari

Whatever I listen to has no effect on my riding at all I still pop along at the same pace, I think my horse would die if I tried to ride to the beat of drum and bass

They say that people drive faster while listening to heavy metal etc and i just thought that subconsciously it might do the same thing when riding....Lol

Personally it doesn't effect me, only time I try and stick to the beat is when I listen to my mates kur music from the Junior(or U21, I forget!) euro's last year which is on my iPod.

For the first time yesterday I listened to music when I rode (playing with new phone

) and was listening to Green Day/30 Seconds to Mars
Found out that we can trot perfectly to the rhythm of Boulevard of Broken Dreams, it amused me

I think it helped - with horse focusing on the rhythm more, he payed less attention to the harder stuff I made him do, and so didn't get as stroppy! Don't think it changed the way I rode though really, except that I sang more
