A friend of mine is looking for a short term loan for the summer months (I know, unlikely!!) Does anyone know if this is possible and where she may be able to find one??!

LOL Im sure everyone would just like a horse for the summer! I actually stopped looking for people to ride out with me, because I would find someone, all would be well all summer, then come October they would be gone!
sometimes having 2 to ride can be a chore but at least I wont let myself down!
You may have some luck on adtrader, local papers, horsemart, horsequest.

Try some of the equine colleges. During the summer their loan horses go home and where possible they try and reduce the number of horses in over the summer to cut down on staffing requirements. Some colleges own their horses and those not needed for stage exams are often a bit redundant.
