When do you wear a body protector?

Only wear it when jumping - yard policy for anyone including staff.

Have got so used to jumping with it, that it doesn't bother me, and having seen the fall that was the final straw for bringing the rule in a couple of years ago - I don't blame the yard

Occasionally wear it hacking if I know logs etc are going to be involved.
 
I only ever wear one for XC because that's the rules, and even then I have gone XC without one a few times. I remember being so relieved when I reached my 14th birthday because it meant that I didn't have to wear one to jump at PC rallies, camp ect anymore.

I can't bear wearing mine because it presses on the plate in my collar bone, I keep meaning to take a knife to it and cut out the top block (its a racesafe one) because its so uncomfortable.
