As I do not have an instructor is there someone who I could ring up who would come and see the horse with me if I veiw it, such as a freelance instructor?
if not would it be too cheeky to see if anyone from on here would come with me if I put money towards their petrol cost, preferably someone who lives near the yard or knows of them (green moor stud, leeds).

Hmm a tricky one. Might be best if you went to view it with someone who has a camera or video camera and then upload privately to people you respect on here and who you have asked first if they'll give you their opinion. I took video of a couple of horses when I went to try them out as my instructor wasn't available at the time or it was far away. I then asked her opinion afterwards. This is not as good as in person but if they then thought it was worth a second look they might be prepared to come with you. I'd come with you but as I know little you'd probably end up with one with three legs or a giraffe. I had a conformation lesson before I went viewing which helped a bit but I'm definitely no expert!

I would get my mum (or whoever went with me) to take the camera and take pictures and videos, to get a second opinion on and also something that I can refer back to when deciding.
I am defiantly no expert on conformation but I have learnt a bit about it at college and through posts on here. Thanks for the tips!
