Following on from the incident above it has now escalated. After being advised from other liveries that the owner of the horse "wanted a word with me" as someone had told her it bit me, I asked her if i could talk to her as her horse bit me and maybe we should discuss how to deal with it. I've since found out it lunged and bit at least 2 others.
So basically the owner tells me its never bitten before and I must of provoked it and says maybe my mare being in season next door caused it! (she isnt in season!)
Then she tells me how she wont have anyone hitting her horse as they will make it head shy. I explained I am not in favour of hitting horses at all or in the face but when teeth made contact it was instinct. The owner then preceded to tell their instructor very loudy that her poor horse is head shy cos "someone has been smacking it around the head"
My blood was boiling and i had to leave. After shoving the horses head out my way so i could get out my stable! not that head shy after all AGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
