As a general rule of thumb, the height at 2, plus 4 - 6 inches is the estimated adult height.
However, the life they have had during their growth phases - nutrition, worm burden, illness etc - all plays a part on the final height of a horse.

Your boy looks like he will be a thick set, heavy lad, so approximately 14.2hh but wide and solid too. Don't be surprised if he keeps growing and changing until he is 8.

Thank you Mel.Reading between the lines and looking at his condition at the moment he certainly hasn't had a brillient start to life so any advice on how to get him right would be very much appreciated,thank you in advance for any help.:)
 
I like him :) he should be a useful size when he is grown I reckon - probably around 14.2 as someone has suggested

WelshD thank you,i hope so to.He is really laid back and quiet so far and he isn't fazed by traffic at all and that is without another Horse with him.:)
