For those of you who find 'equestrian' reflective gear expensive, head down to poundland. They have reflective waistcoats in for...yep...a pound each.
I bought 4, and made a set of leg wraps, hat band and rein and bridle strips out of one. They're really bright and the orange ones can be seen quite a way off.
For those who havent a poundland nearby, then sunday markets often sell reflective gear very very cheap.

All I can think of is a lad I went to school with talking about pounland, his verdict was that the first thing through the door was £4.95

Ooh, must take a look in there. I have 4 of us to kit out!

They look really good, they are the flourescent yellow ones with reflective strips, cant complain for a quid!

Going to buy a couple tomorrow for OH, he is sick of wearing my pink stuff LOL

I just got some velcro from the local market and then Stitched it on. As we have a tiny shettie I was struggling to find stuff small enough for him. And I even managed to make a little hat band for my 2yr old's hat.

Thats a good idea, just don't know if I can be a$$ed to start cutting up and stitching, there again lol, not intending hacking out for some considerable time.

Little Miss Creative can I trade a box of choccies for some leg wraps/rein wraps ??? I'll buy the reflectives, you make it
