Following on from riding in the dark - Head lamps

Hi all,

I have been looking into purchasing a head light that fits onto the riding hat, Does anyone have one? What are they like? are they very strong? do they last? and are the batterie operated or not?!

Are they worth buying?

Before I had the yard lights fitted I used a battery operated head lamp (hubby called it my mining lamp!).

Was one that you could angle the light up & down so quite useful for picking out hooves etc.

Not enought light to muck out by and frightened my horse half to death so could only use if when facing away from her - lol.
