Hi all.
Think horse already exsists. I have a bunch of leaflets in the house which was put together by the bhs and department of transport, it is just something that needs spreading and educating. If any of you would like to see the contents of said leaflet then i will take some photos of it and post on here. There is good info in there on how to approach and pass a horse safely in a car etc.

Have taken some, will upload them to photo bucket now. they will probably be huge! i have tried to take them so you can read the text aswell.

Sorry they are going to be big, they arnt the clearest as the shine of the leaflet relflects!
It does say on the leaflet which i find very important.

"Mutual courtesy and care between motorist and riders is important to prevent intolerance and improve safety. A horse rider should acknowledge a courtessy, however a wave or acknowledgement is not always possible as two hands are often needed to keep control of the horse, but a nod and a friendly smile are the least you should expect. Good leaflets, but the wrong audience. Doesn't Jeremy Clarkson have a daughter who rides? Top Gear could do a huge amount to make the roads safer for riders and drivers, if they care about these things.

Take a look on the car accident thread, not entirely sure wether its actually him but i hope it is.

Does no body remember seeing this advertised on tele for about 2weeks a few years back? Or am i the only one. It was the riders on front cove of that leaflet going down the road and just basically told people how to pass horses etc.
I thought it was great but it disappeared very quickly, not sure why.
